Editorial Policy

People make real hiring and compliance calls based on what they read here. That keeps us honest. This page covers who writes for us, how we check what we publish, when we update it, and what happens when we get something wrong.

Why this exists

Our blog and guides cover employer of record models, Indian payroll, statutory contributions, global hiring. Readers act on this stuff, so being right matters more than publishing a lot. This policy holds everything we put out to one standard, whether it’s a two-line answer or a long guide.

Who writes for us

The people writing here do the work for a living. Payroll and compliance pieces come from colleagues who actually run statutory filings and manage PF and ESI in house. Service and market pieces draw on our leadership and client teams. You can meet them on our Team page and read about the company on About Us.

Every article carries a named author with a short profile, so you know who wrote it and why they’d know. We don’t run anonymous content on technical subjects.

How we research and check

We start with primary sources. For anything statutory, that means the government department or the official gazette, not someone else’s summary of it. A draft goes through three steps before it’s live:

  1.   Research. The writer pulls current figures, thresholds, and rules from primary sources.
  2.   Subject review. A colleague who works in that area checks the facts and the practical details.
  3.   Edit and publish. We tighten the writing, check the links, and schedule it.

Sourcing standards

  •   For statutory and tax matters, we cite the official Indian government portals. Rates, dates, registration rules, straight from source.
  •   When a figure can change, we name where it came from and when.
  •   We keep opinion and fact apart, and we don’t dress one up as the other.
  •   We don’t copy from other sites. Where we lean on a source, we link to it and write the explanation ourselves.

We use software, AI assistants included, for research, rough outlines, and routine editing. A qualified person then reviews, fixes, and signs off on everything before it publishes, and an author owns it. We don’t ship unreviewed machine output, and we don’t let a tool overrule someone who actually knows the subject.

Keeping content updated

Indian employment and tax rules shift constantly, and a guide that was right last year can mislead this year. So we review our heavy-traffic and compliance pages on a schedule, and again whenever a big rule changes. When an update changes what a page actually says, we move the review date so you can see how fresh it is. Our blog and industry news track developments as they land.

Corrections

We get things wrong sometimes. When we do, we fix them fast and in the open, and if a correction changes the meaning of a page, we note it. Spotted an error? Email marketing@remunance.com. For something more formal, there’s our Complaints Procedure.

Advertising, sponsorship, and affiliate links

Most of our content is about our own services and our market, so none of it is sponsored. If we ever run sponsored content, a paid placement, or an affiliate link, we label it plainly. A commercial relationship never decides what a guide concludes.

Editorial independence

Writers and reviewers keep editorial control. Sales targets don’t bend the facts. If the true answer is inconvenient for us, we still print it, because trust is worth more than one conversion.

Tell us what to fix

If a guide is unclear, dated, or missing the thing you came for, we want to know. Send it through Contact Us and tell us which page you were on.
