Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst (BA) with a strong background in app development, agile methodologies, and property management workflows. The ideal candidate has experience working closely with development teams and R&D to translate business needs into actionable requirements. A solid understanding of low to mid-fidelity wireframing using Figma, Azure DevOps, and QA testing is essential.
The BA will play a key role in leading sprint meetings, backlog grooming, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to continuously enhance our solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with stakeholders to define business needs and translate them into detailed functional requirements.
- Lead sprint planning meetings, backlog grooming, and scrum sessions to ensure efficient project execution.
- Utilize Azure DevOps to manage work items, track progress, and ensure alignment with development goals.
- Create low to mid-fidelity wireframes using Figma to illustrate and validate user flows.
- Collaborate with developers and R&D teams to ensure the feasibility and effectiveness of proposed solutions.
- Analyze and enhance existing property management workflows, ensuring they align with market needs and industry best practices.
- Conduct QA testing, including test case documentation, execution, and issue tracking to validate product quality.
- Continuously seek opportunities for process improvements, ensuring that Unify LIV remains a leader in PropTech innovation.
- Effectively communicate technical and non-technical requirements between business and technical teams.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role within software development.
- Experience in app development and familiarity with agile methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps for backlog and sprint management.
- Hands-on experience with Figma for wireframing and UI/UX collaboration.
- Prior experience in property management workflows and solutions is highly desirable.
- Strong ability to lead sprint meetings, document user stories, and break down business needs into development tasks.
- QA testing skills, including writing and executing test cases.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A mindset for continuous improvement and innovation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a PropTech, Property Management Solution, or SaaS environment.
- Adequate understanding of API integrations and system architecture.
- Certification in Scrum, Agile, or Business Analysis.
- Experience with user acceptance testing (UAT) and business validation processes.
- Exposure to AI-driven analytics in business applications.
- Strong documentation skills using Confluence or similar knowledge management tools.
- Ability to analyze business processes and propose automation strategies.
- Experience in data visualization and reporting tools to track key business metrics.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks proactively.
